Hogglepot closed to submissions until further notice
After much consideration over the last several months, I have decided to close Hogglepot to further submissions and will stop publishing new material. I apologize to the many writers who have submitted stories this year and have not received any responses. I am sure that we received many wonderful stories, but the unfortunate truth is that I no longer have as much time to devote to Hogglepot and its prospective authors as I would like. Due to my responsibilities as a stay-at-home mother and the increasing demands of my publishing career, I have to prioritize my work, and since Hogglepot is an unpaid endeavor, I cannot spare the time and effort it takes to read and reply to submissions, edit and format accepted stories, and regularly publish new material. My hope is that I will be able to reopen submissions sometime in the future and continue publishing fiction with Hogglepot, as it is something I very much enjoy doing. Until that time, all previously published material will remain available on the Hogglepot website for readers' enjoyment.
Thank you for your support and interest in our literary journal, and we hope we will someday once again be a source of entertaining science fiction and fantasy.
